Already a rough match up on paper and forecast definitely plays into Iowa’s strengths. Grownoski raised in Illinois and played outside for 4 years at South Dakota State. Needless to say, weather won’t bother his style of play. Combined with the fact that they don’t throw very well anyway, this is advantage Iowa offense. Defensively, favors Iowa also. They already have a stout run defense, now combine that with the weather… yuck.
But, rival game at home, looks like a horrible combination of things…. Looks like the HOME team pulls off the upset! GBR

What ever happened to the basic Read-Option play?

With Lateaf it should be called 2-3 times a quarter. If works fairly well, run Read-Option more. He doesn't have to keep it each time, but be smart enough to pull it and run. It could also open up play-action pass as well.

Just simple plays to spread out the Iowa defense and keep them on their toes, and out of the box.

It’s to easy. To many other high powered offenses run it and it works so there for Nebraska can’t!!
