Suspended Dec 1: He is pulled from the middle of a coaches meeting by the AD , Ohio announced he was suspended with pay and named interim coach for bowl game.
University had been very strict and said nothing else until today announcement.
Rumors go crazy but the leading one is he had inappropriate contact with a female college age student . While not officially confirmed, local reports can all point this was happening.
Wife files for divorce Dec 4. We learn that he has an attorney and they put out a brief statement more with information about a preschedule divorce hearing and it wasn’t affecting anything with his job status.
His house is put up for sale by one local reporter.
Fired Dec 17 - Ohio termination of contract with case and make official statement on case.
Later today Columbus Ohio News reported that multiple bottles and cans of alcohols were found in his desk during an investigation search of his office. When asked about it he told investigators that he and his coaches would drink after games.
This is a separate but second violation of his contract.
