The same way you get "no volleyball players will be doing any postgame interviews" from "we're not opening the locker room for additional interviews." A desire to be the one breaking the news without much concern for understanding or accurately relaying what you heard.
 
Kudos to Sipple for asking if the program is in a reset. Rhule had the easiest BIG schedule and still struggled. Next years schedule is brutal. Rhule did not like to be challenged.
