We got one of the best ST coaches in the country last year, and one of the hottest DC names when Rhule was hired, and one of the most respected offensive minds in the modern era, so why not?

Why you ask? Bc we are a lower middle class B1G team that hasn’t been nationally relevant in 25 years and don’t want to spend money.

Eck was a solid hire no doubt, but without EJ, Dana looks painfully mediocre. Best case scenario I think is identifying up and coming coaches from lower ranks and hope we hit on them bc elite, established coaches are not coming to Lincoln.

Bc they had no proven back up in case EJ got hurt. That's how you can tell. Without EJ that running back room left a lot to be desired from.

You’re right, I don’t KNOW, I just said that’s what it looks like. When 1 player has 40% of the teams total offensive yards, that makes you think there isn’t much else to work with or that he can’t scheme other stuff up and just keeps going back to the well.

I hope I’m wrong and Dana is still a mad genius but so far he seems pretty “mid” as the kids say.
