Same. Life comes at you fast.Something just occurred to me. I'm an old phocker. And I'm looking at the teams playing today.
Nebraska
Iowa
Michigan
Texas
Miami
Ohio State
And a weird feeling came over me. I remember when that line-up meant it was Jan1st (or at least NOT December). I remember when fans/teams would brag they were playing in a "January" bowl game.
It was a nostalgic-wistful feeling. I smiled, and then I felt a little sad.
As someone else said ... they did it Jirk's way. But it still counts as a win, and I believe the SEC is 2-5 right now.SEC continues to suck and I love it. The 8-4 Iowa team just beat the 10-2 Vandy team.
It absolutely should, but it won't. They've had terrible bowl seasons for 3 years running now and they'll still get 7 teams ranked to begin the season next year.It would be beautiful if the big10 ended up something like 12-2 and the title game was between 2 big10 teams. It would undeniably shut down the SEC bias. At least for a year ha.

Luv it!!

they will have to rank a couple more in order to keep enough highly ranked teams to have the most in the playoffs againIt absolutely should, but it won't. They've had terrible bowl seasons for 3 years running now and they'll still get 7 teams ranked to begin the season next year.
Yeppers. It turns out when everyone can buy players (and their parents) it levels the playing field. The reality is that the SEC was cheating for years paying players under the table. Once NIL allowed all teams to pay players the SEC was suddenly not competitive.
3 legendary programs: Nebraska; Michigan and USC. Not the look we want.Texas pulls it out over Michigan. 3 losses by the BIG in 24 hours.
On to OSU.
