It's interesting how this has been working out. It makes me think that, yes, these guys are good. But, it's important to get a good QB, but it's even more important to get really good guys around him, especially on the line.

So, I'm actually more interested in who we get for the O line.

Would be nice to have some film that wasn't against wildly over-matched teams. But he certainly doesn't seem as easy to bring down as Raiola, at least.

Honestly, Minchey is the best they could have hoped for. Talent that has a couple of seasons of college coaching.

The other thing to remember is that this is a guy that Holgorsen had tried to recruit to Houston, so he's got his kinda QB now.

Then again, we all remember when Riley finally had his QB and not one he inherited...

Did people not watch the Utah QB destroy us? I would even donate to get a legit dual threat QB. I would even take back Sims if the offense was fit for him. Nebraska had good running QBs forever and now we want to be Ohio State. Go back to being NEBRASKA! Also, can we please use tight ends? The rare position we can actually recruit locally as well.

He’s a good QB for sure. But to be fair, any team with a pretty good running game is going to destroy 2025 NU’s defense, right?

The reason he’s so good is because he can also drop a dime in on medium/long distance throws.

We’d all love to grab a QB like him, but I honestly don’t think that not having a QB with a great running ability is what’s holding us back.

But, we definitely need SOMETHING that uses more power in the red zone.

Some rumors about Leavitt going to Kentucky (since ASU is predicted to land the Kenturcky QB), but I think he goes to Oregon. Bummer.

Minchey's highlights look ok, but the reality is that Nebraska needs an experienced QB to take over next year. I don't care if that's P5 or FCS....experience in games will be far more helpful given Nebraska's schedule. I am hoping the coaches are pursuing other options besides Minchey.

He is ranked as the number one player and qb in the portal but I don't understand why. Yes he was the freshman of the year in the Big 12 but his stats don't live up to the ranking.
