Your 2026 Nebraska Cornhuskers

Word is Carter Nelson played all year with a messed up labrum in his shoulder. He's going to have surgery right away and will miss all spring.
Thats a b!^@h! Had mine repaired in January, can't image trying to lift my arm to catch a pass. Took me 6 months to get arm straight above my head, but im old.

Did he miss last spring also? Hip? Hopefully not another high profile TE who is plagued with injuries that never allows him to reach potential!

I wonder if it's a SLAP tear. I have one but i won't get surgery (I still lift weights 6 times per week). You can go a long time without having surgery on it although surgery would always be beneficial.

IMO our linebackers again looked pretty slow & apathetic in the bowl game. I don't understand what happened to Shavers between last year's bowl game and the Utah game.

That position room doesn't seem to have a single spark of fire at this point.

I wouldn't think it would be that hard to get two backers out of the portal to significantly change that room, but maybe it actually is.

VS9 regressing and McGahee disappearing were confusing and troubling this year.
