2026 QB Kenny Minchey -> Nebraska -> Kentucky

I didn't understand the point of bringing Gramstad here and not playing him against Iowa especially since TJ was hurt. I believe we still would have lost the game but he has 2 good hamstrings instead of one.
Lot of behind the scenes good stuff that happens that most fans never understand. Scott team talent is a huge factor that most fans never consider. Gramstad, and others like him, have a huge impact on the team.

No no I understand he brought value to the team but he wasn't valuable enough to play especially with the qb being hurt.

I’ll get excited about a good QB when we have good linemen. If we don’t have the o line it doesn’t mean anything

You claimed it was funny to think we'd get another commit. I gave an example of getting a commit who was coming here to be depth. So "exactly" what you said wouldn't happen.
But the thing is I don't think he would have transferred here if he knew he was just going to sit the bench. When the coaches didn't even try to play him during the Iowa game that was very telling. It's going to be really hard for Nebraska to bring a guy in like Zane Flores or a Daniel Kaelin just to add depth if they don't see a clear path to play. I threw both those names out there bc rn they are both depth pieces to a qb room and while ZF was the former starter at Okie State he is a year or 2 away from actually being ready to play.

If don't think he knew there was a very good chance that he was going to sit the bench the entire time because we had a returning starter who was a five-star recruit, you probably need to evaluate your decision-making process.

I was saying that was why no one should commit really, if they are on the same level as the two already here. It makes zero sense, but you're right, someone might still do it.

Well he probably felt that he had a good chance to be the number 2 and that if Raiola did get hurt he would get his opportunity to play. But when Dylan got hurt and TJ took over the coaches still didn't trust him to go on the field which meant even though Im a depth piece Im not good enough to play peace out.
