I am not sure I buy that. 65% will never be on a roster AGAIN? Maybe not on a P4 or even FBS roster, or some other clarifier, but most can find a spot in FCS or elsewhere if they really want to keep playing football. I am getting a little tired of the hyperbole in statistics that largely feels made up half the time.

One would think players could find a home with 265 combined teams (FBS & FCS) with roughly 28k players. Guessing a lot of them just quit playing football if they don't get offers that are attractive to them.
