Still listening to 1620 Unsportsmanlike Conduct and Kevin (I believe it was Kevin) said that TO will be focusing on recruiting this week as well as finding a new coach. I wonder when TO will have another inteviews with the 2-3 other coaches. I figured that it would be today since they left Lincoln yesterday for interviews and had Bo's interview on Sunday.

I can actually see TO announcing the new HC next week probably on Sunday or Monday after the big championship games this weekend if the new HC isn't Turner Gill. TO is a man of his word and he said that he hasn't offered the job to anybody and that the interview process isn't over. He said that the new HC will be announced sooner rather than later and I think a week to find a new coach is pretty quick in IMO. GO BIG RED!!!!

 
Well, according to the info he's interviewed... Pelini, Gill, and Grobe.. That's 3, he said 3 or 4. So... theoretically, he could talk to one more person and then offer his first choice.

I think the last guy he talks too is Kelly. Just a hunch at this point.

 
If it is any coach that is preparing for a game this weekend, it would make sense that it won't be announced until Sunday, at the earliest...

 
Will have to keep an eye out for anymore flights out of Lincoln. Kelly is a possible, Paul Johnson seems to be another. Anyone know if there is any word on Mark? Richt being spoken to?

Kelly would be a flight to Cincy, Navy is in Anapolis, or they could go to Atlanta and bring the coaching canidates there.

Richt would be a fool to leave GA. He is on the verge of fielding a top team there to compete for the NC next year. Let's not insult the guy by asking him to interview here!

 
Again on 1620 they just said that TO will be out on Thursday and Friday for recruiting and if we don't find out tomorrow who the new coach is, we might find out on Saturday, Sunday, or even Monday with Paul Johnson might be getting interviewed. I just said that like over an hour ago.

 
Good thing I am pretty busy this week , otherwise the suspense/waiting would kill me.
