About a year ago my wife lost her job and has been temping until she can find something new. She works at NET right now, and from time to time she hears things about press conferences. She told me about the presser to announce Pederson’s firing ahead of time, and she called me early in the AM to tell me about the presser to announce TO's return. So she knows stuff.

She just sent this email, and I'm copying it here verbatim. The typos are hers:

there is going to be a press conference on monday for the coach anouncement.

they have someone form back east and they will be bringing him in for the

conference. don't know if it's pellini or gill.

If it's someone from back east, it isn't Pelini - darn it!

Welllll, that may or may not mean anything. She doesn't exactly know directions very well. Even with a compass she could accidentally drive north, I think.

Although, I'm guessing she heard "back east" from someone and isn't guessing on her own. I would guess she's just repeating what they said, and it isn't Pelini.

With all due respect to my lovely bride, I don't think she thinks about football enough to know stuff like that. I'm sure she heard someone say "east" and isn't deducing it on her own.

I sent her a reply asking for more info. We'll see what she says.
