Looks like they had to move a couple of games around which will give us two bye weeks if I am looking at it right.

I just read that. I like the idea. Give the guys a chance to rest up before starting back up against VaTech then the Big 12 schedule.

VA Tech has a bye before they play us, too. Several teams had byes before playing us this year, and we didn't fare so well against them (USC and Colorado come to mind immediately).

I think it's a good idea. The guys could really have used a week off this year to regroup. They played straight through until the break before Colorado, and they were clearly running on empty for a while.
