Has anyone heard lately how many tickets have been sold for the spring game?

Last time I heard (over a week ago), it was around 33,000.

As of Thursday, about 40,700 tickets had been sold for Nebraska’s Red-White spring game on April 19.

Jeff Jamrog, Nebraska assistant athletic director for football operations, has said it’s a goal for the game to be a sellout.

The record attendance for a Husker spring game was set in 2005, during Callahan’s second season, when 63,416 fans showed up.

Yeah, this is the first time that I can remember seeing the spring game actively promoted like it is this year. I imagine they need to get as much cash as possible to pay for the contract buyouts.

Why do i have a feeling that this spring game won't be a sellout. I really want this spring game to be a sellout

I really was considering driving up to lincoln on april 18th and staying in a hotel and going to the spring game, but i realized i am going to be in D.C. that weekend!! is it going to be televised or streamed on the net??

I bought 18 tickets. They were only going to allow me 10, which I thought was silly considering it is just a practice game, but they gave in and let me buy 18.

I too hope it's a sell out, but have my doubts.

Haven't heard whether it will be televised.

I still think 40K+ is pretty good considering it is still March and tickets have been out for a month. Don't count out the people that will buy on game day, too. On a related note, anyone gotten their tickets yet?

there have been 40k ticket PRESOLD.

there are gonna be easily 50k people there this season, if not more.

As it approaches, people will feel that rush and get their tickets. 50K is a great showing of support.

When they set the record of over 60k people, they only presold about 30k. If we are already over 40k, it may be a sell out.
