I would love to throw another :yeah but i think we WILL win the north next year and have a possible Fiesta bowl berth or Cotton bowl berth. There is not a talent gap between between everyone else and us. We have had a top 20 recruiting class the last 4 or 5 years. I feel very optimistic about next years D. Combine a high powered offense with a revived defense and coach of the year goes to.....*drum roll*.....Bo Pelini. :restore

 
Well I'm not going to OD on Kool-Aid, but we should be able to compete for the North Division.

This team has talent, it just hasn't had any coaching for 5 years.

 
there will be marked improvement, but honestly, there are way too many unknowns to expect a lot. progress will be acceptable.

 
I know it's the off season and all, and it goes by painfully slow, but can we wait until AT LEAST the spring practices are over before making any kind of predictions.

 
We're going to play eight home games and four road games . . . and if we get lucky, we'll get to play one or two more games after those are all finished.

And oh yeah, national champs. :)

 
7-5... Maybe 8-4. You have talent, and a brand new staff. The nice thing for the red is that with the talent, you could do better than my prediction for sure, but I do not see it happening in year 1, sorry....

 
My guess right now is 8-4, give or take a game. The sched will be tough. Va Tech is no joke and the 12 will be tough with a good 5 top25 teams and several more than should finish over .500.

 
I say we'll go 10-3.

The same record that Solich had when he left- the same record that Callahan could never match. The key difference is that in coming years we will get better under Pelini.
