I mistyped. What I meant to type was, "How in the world did NU get 17 votes based on last season's performance (i.e., the hoooooorrible defense)?"

For anyone saying that NU's schedule is easy this season (which there are a few), NU faces five top 25 teams during the season; two of which are in the top 10.

Looks like a tough season ahead, but luckily homefield advantage is on our side. I'm looking forward to it!

 
Steve Supperier always votes Duke in until thier first lost i read that somewhere. I think he coached there at a point in time, but apparently he changed his mind

Not too bad considering last seasons' disaster. I think we'll finish in the top 15 when all is said and done.
