I ment to click the 8 win one. But messed up and clikced the cotton bowl hopfully the skers can fix my mistake by winning 10 or so GBR

suprisingly? everyone wants to believe we are going to be great right away... some want to think it, but say they don't expect it.. while in fact, they probably will "expect" it in a sense... think how great we were after destroying Nevada last year? our expectations are going to go up with every good thing that happens... i honestly don't think we're going to know a lot about this team until we get back to play kansas after our 1st road trip.. how we bounce back from 2 losses in a row ON THE ROAD against iowa state will probably show us more about this team than any other single factor. Now, for some reason if we happen to pull upsets, then well, we already know enough, that being the team is good, and then, well, a loss at all (with the exception of possibly ou) will piss people off... so really, its not a surprise because, we're all husker fans, and its just in our nature to be good.

 
Just looking at this sampling, Husker nation is about a perfect bell curve as far as expectations go, interesting. Most have pretty realistic expectations, of course the true fan inside us all thinks they will go undefeated every year, good stuff!

 
Damn dawg, this was hard. I picked 7 wins & bowl eligible. Because it will be an improvement from last year. The league really has raised the bar. Would love to improve to 9 W's the following year. But will lose 8 starters on offense & 5 on defense after this season. Will even have a new QB battle.

9 wins this year would be so nice though. :) I think they are capable.
