Forde Yard Dash

Daniel has more touchdowns (seven) than incompletions (six) in his past two games.

(Sam Bradford)He has thrown 10 touchdowns in his past 54 attempts, a crazy 18.8 percent touchdown percentage, and leads the nation in completion percentage at 79.

(Graham Harrell) He has 16 400-yard passing games in his career and is the nation's active yardage leader -- by a mile.

Absolutely sick numbers, I don't care if they do come against cupcakes, they are still college football teams. We're going to have our hands full.

GBR
I totally agree. I would even put Reesing right up there because of the style (mostly a passer). Then you have guys like Colt McCoy, Zach Robinson, and Joe Ganz that can pass and run (or scramble for good yardage).

The Big 12 is stacked at QB. It's a great conference. It's delicious. :)

Josh Freeman totally showed last night why he deserves to be ranked so high in that article.
He did?? 22-42 with 2 INT's and a big F-ing L aren't exactly mind blowing stats for a highly rated QB!! Yeah he had 313 yds but he also threw the ball 42 times, he better have that type of yardage. He also should've been sacked several times if Louisville could've tackled!! Not that impressed here, a little pressure and he's lost in the sauce!!

Sense the sarcasm.

My bad!!!

I don't agree with either Robinson or Hawkins being ahead of Ganz. Neither has won jack! And are we forgetting the head to head between Ganz and Freeman last year? In only his second start he proved he was the better QB. Freemans numbers will level off by mid season. Not even going to waste my time arguing against Robinson and Hawkins. Seriously, what have they done? :dunno

Sorry but I have to stick up for our guy, I think he's getting the shaft by this ESPY lackey!

although i agree that missouri has more talent.. i don't see how they have been widening the gap in what has been the most "talent rich" period for the Huskers in recruiting?

i agree that they are better, more talented, what not.... but that doesn't mean they are going to win.. like you said, they have to be coached to their ability.... i'll be interested to see what happens next year w/o daniel.....

this has not been, by any means, a "talent rich" period of recruiting for NU. That is illusion. Nu recruited well under Osborne, it went down with Solich and down again with (or, at best equal) under Callahan. The Callahan recruits were not very good --- we lost almost all the big names, those that signed on largely crapped out or were not what they were hyped to be. NU under Callahan had mid-conference recruiting, no more. So far, the Pelini recruiting seems to be, well... too early to say definatively, but it also appears to be mid-level --- hopefully that will change.
completely disagree. <_<

To 'robsker's' remarks in post 7, I would respectfully reply: :bs: !

MO may be sitting on the NORTH throne now and after this season, but that doesn't make them king; they usurped the throne and after Booger is gone they will be knocked off and have to train the next guy OTJ for a few yrs, etc--i.e., rebuild.

And since when did they start owning the Big XII?

They haven't won a CC yet!

As for talent, they have Booger, Mac, and Coffman; who else?!

What they HAVE is some stability and a team seasoned in a...

What has Ganz won? Or done? Besides beat a bad KSU team...

Also, Hawkins beat Oklahoma... well, I wouldn't say that... he played quarterback while Colorado beat Oklahoma...

...system. On average, I would say NE has as much talent as MO; we just don't have the 2 things I cited above for MO. But we will catch them soon enough, as will CO, KU, etc.

MO may not be a paper tiger but they aren't granite either.

They are 'tough as RAIN'... :thumbs

My point was they've done nothing to put them above Ganz. Joe came out like gang busters, and hasn't slowed much. Just looking at skills alone, Ganz is better! In my own very, very biased opinion.

Proud Ganz :koolaid2: drinker!
