Lane Kiffen for New OC

Don't be starting this Sh*t!! Watson is our OC. Why do we want another Al Davis reject? Get your head out of your arse. Even talking about it does nothing to unify this team, or the fans. Anyone not willing to give this coaching staff a chance after the last couple of years has something wrong with them...

We knew this was not going to be fixed overnight...give Bo a chance to do what he needs to do. Everyone thought Watson was the next thing to the messiah last year...now because we lost two games it has begun, you are calling for his head on a platter. You will never be happy...

Kiffin is a decent coach but is OVERRATED!!!....when he was at USC they ran and still do i believe , a version of the WCO ...nothing fancy...that's pretty much what we're running right now...the only reason it worked for USC is, well, they're USC!!.... these guys got more talent than anybody else..some would argue that he's also a good recruiter...true , again...they're USC. anybody can recruit at USC..the school sells itself because of their stature at the moment. if he was to come to NU, which i see no reason why he would, we would be running the same offense..don't think it's gonna work given our talent

Lane Kiffen will be a head coach in college football next season. He would never take a coordinator job in college especially right now at Nebraska. Look at what the coordinators here get paid he would not go for that. Look for him at the University of Washington or somewhere next year as the head coach

and the stature of nebraska in the late 90's into the early 2000's didn't sell itself? i completely disagree with that.. you have to have a coach that is able to connect with the kids too to get them here... yes, its harder to recruit to nebraska, but its not like usc is a given anymore either...

I wasn't saying anything about him either. as a coach, person, whatever. all i was saying is that Kiffin does have pretty recent college experience.....and IMO Kiffin is more like a Gruden than a Cally because well, Cally never proved anything.. at least we KNOW kiffin is pretty damn good. and NO IM NOT asking for him to be our OC... i defend watson, and have in a different thread....
