dedhoarse seems to me the closer asante plays to the line the better he plays. the closing speed he had on that on iowa st RB was terrific..he struggles a bit when he's farther away from the line of scrimmage and when he's gotta cover a WR 20 yards down field...when you put him at the point of attack ( within 5 yards or so of the line of scrimmage) he really excels..the guys a good blitzer with terrific closing speed...wish we had more depth at the SS position...would have like to see him try the OLB position...i know it's not gonna happen but just wishful thinking i guess

I definitely agree. I'm convinced that if we had better options at safety than Bo would have moved him to LB. He's fast and likes to hit, but he's lost in coverage. At LB he could definitely be another Terrell Farley or Demmorio Williams.

i wouldn't be suprised to see him moved there next year(as i remember he's a junior right?)

To compare Asante to Farley is a bit of a stretch..... A very long stretch. Farley had crazy fast instincts as well as speed. Farley was an incredible athlete that was used properly :horns2
