I'm pouring over Clemson's D stats, and the scoring D is impressive, I feel that we should be able to throw the ball on them, even though they have some fairly decent numbers against the pass defensively.

It's also apparent that they have a difficult time with good running teams (Bama, Ga Tech, FSU), but I think we can hurt them through the air. In my estimation they haven't faced a potent air attack as of yet, which leaves them a bit untested, which I think plays to our favor.

But, if our ground game gets going, then they'll have plenty to worry about...

3 TDs may be expecting too much. 27-21 win is more reasonable.

 
i think that we have to keep on doing the things that we have been doing in the later part of the year, cause once we start doing the things that we are not used to doing then thats when things could get ugly

I'm more than confident that NU can handle Clemson...but I was nearly 100% that we would dismantle a limping...barely breathing Coloraod team...and look what happened....I'm not so ballsy as predicting a 3 TD win, but a win none the less....

We keep the first quarter clean..... I think that we can gain steam and handle the game for the final three!

I'd agree. I think we will be able to move the ball relatively well, but we have to get off to a good start. Our strength has been ball control and time of possesion. That's alot tougher to do if you're playing from behind.

On the other side of the ball, our D line gets the advantage. Our corners HAVE to contain their speed on the outside.

:yeah 28-27 NU is my prediction. Like someone said keeping the first quarter clean, that and don't be so damn predictable in the redzone!
