All-Americans announced . . .

Guess how many Huskers are on the first team.

None.

Well, I can live with that.

The second team? Maybe Suh?

Nope.

How about the honorable mention, which lists about a hundred guys for every position? Any love for Ganz, the third most efficient QB in the country, or Henery and his cannon-leg?

Nope.
suh will be on next year's list.

BEAT CLEMSON!

If you think anyone really deserves to be on it you probably need to stay away from the kool-aid. Do we have very good players? yes. All-Americans? No.

Joe Ganz isn't even close to being the third most efficient QB in the country, where are you getting your statistics from?
Excuse me, CAREER efficiency. There was a pretty big topic on here right before the Colorado game that said in career efficiency, he was third behind Bradford and Tebow.

And I didn't think we'd have anyone listed in first or even second team, but not even having anyone in the honorable mention was a surprise to me.

Career Passing Efficiency for Active QB's

still 3rd..... behind 2 Heisman winners, and ahead of this years Heisman runner-up...

Ganz shouldn’t have been included in my opinion. You don’t get mentioned when the argument could be made that you are the 5th to 7th best QB in your own conference. He didn’t even get Honorable Mention All Big 12 but people think he should have gotten Honorable Mention All American? That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. People keep saying “if he was in a different Conference” or “Any other year” well you know what he is in the Big 12 and it isn’t any other year.

Suh on the other hand was either 1st or 2nd Team All Big 12 depending on if you are going by the coaches or the media. I think anyone that is on either the 1st or 2nd team in this conference should have at least got Honorable Mention, but that might just be me.

Which All American Team is this discussion even about? The only one I could find was the AP and I didn’t see any Honorable Mention listed just the 3 teams.

It will be awhile before we get all-americans here, once NU starts beating top tier oppenents more people will take notice, but this year was not eye popping to a lot of people. They still got their butts handed to them a couple times.

I would put NO stock in this SI all american team. Their smart enough to leave the the Mackey award winner and Consensus All-American TE Chase Coffman off both their first and second teams.

Suh is just one of the many that got jipped on that list. Ringer, Moreno and on and on...

We didn't even have one player that was All Big 12, and you thought we'd have some 1st, 2nd, or honorable mention All Americans?
Wasn’t Suh All Big 12?

He was 1st Team on one of the All Big 12 Teams so doesn’t that make him All Big 12?
According to big12sports.com he was 2nd team. I guess this was the one I thought that really mattered as they were nominated and voted upon by the coaches of the Big 12.
