Try this. It's free and and it works great.
There is a little nasty trojan out there classified as Trojan.Vundo by Symantec.
It infects your system by what they call "Scareware." When you go to a website and a page pops up saying you're infected and you have to pay them to remove it. It also disables Norton's ability to detect it.
The trojan itself leaves so many different pieces of itself on your hard drive the recommended way of removing it is to re-install your OS from scratch.
One other option would be to install AVG http://free.avg.com/
After install this program does a safeboot mode scan to remove any virus' or trojan on your system.
