They are keeping the lid sealed pretty tight on it right now.

Word is he has lost a lot of weight... not necessarily in a good way.

I hope it's not something terrible like cancer or some other serious life threatening disease of the sort. That would be a real blow to the team and to the state. I'm sure all of us have been exposed to cancer in some sort of way whether it be family, friend, etc. It sucks.

If it is something life threatening, I'm surprised. I mean these guys are in prime physical shape; it's amazing that difficult things can happen to even the most physically fit.

Whatever is wrong with him, I wish him the best and a speedy recovery. Once a Husker, always a Husker.

Hadn't heard that, the most common rumor/idea I've heard is that he may have developed diabetes. No source on that, mind you, just someone else's speculation.
