The Sooners travel to Nebraska on Nov. 7. Could a matchup of Youngstown coaches Stoops and Pelini be as big as those old Switzer-Osborne showdowns?
I look forward to November!

most threads fill up fairly quickly. i hope pelini has a 2nd season like stoops and tressel. people do a lot of comparing between bo and stoops. 3 days!

Plus Bo won his first TWO bowl games.
I'm not counting Bo's LSU time, nor Bob's Florida time... just their time where they are now in the position they are now in... or are you thinking future-tense? :)

Bo was Nebraska's interim head coach in 2003 after Frank Solich was fired and led the Huskers to a win over Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl.

That's the second bowl huskers1 is talking about.

Oh... right... well, he was INTERIM then, but now he can go all Les Miles and tell refs "I am the head coach!" :)

I personally feel a little pessimistic on this one, and don't think Nebraska is going to go undefeated or lose just one game. It was a good read though, and we can always hope!

I do think this game will be good this year.
