just found this quote from a former WWE employee interesting because it involves my two favorite things: Husker Football and MMA!

by the way this cam from Taz's facebook page and was posted on a few different news sites.

1-Adam Reddick wrote "My fave Taz quote from doing colour was when he introduced Brock Lesnar: "Well, here comes the pain!" I gotta know, if he came up with the simple but effective line or was that someone feeding him that line to say everytime Brock came out?"

Ans- That was indeed a line I came up with. I actually got it from the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team....the Blackshirts which is a nick name for there defense. Years ago they UN had a tshirt for the Blackshirts which said "here comes the pain"...so like many other cool gimmicks in the business that line was stolen too! lol

This is certainly the year to let every team we play know that when the game ends it is only the beginning of a long week in the trainers room. When Big Red shows up on Sat. afternoon or whenever the opposition needs to know that Big Red brings the PAIN with them.

From what I know Tazz is actually a big fan of the Huskers. I believe on the WWE's 9-11 tribute show he was even wearing a Nebraska Football T-shirt.

It's great how Tazz is in Houston TX and is wearing a Cornhuskers Shirt.

I bet JR gave Tazz some flack for not wearing an OU shirt, but JR should know that the real Big Red is Scarlet.

 
Survive...IF I LET YOU. Taz(it's with one z, not tazz but taz) was an amazing performer, and was great...especially when he still had bill alfonso as his handler. he and the orginal pitbulls were the best out of ecw...not counting the lucheadors...and jericho...and...yeah you know what ecw just rocked.

He is going to TNA to help out Samoa Joe. WWE sucks right now and has for about 4 years.

agreed, but TNA is starting to look a lot like WWE. have you caught any of ROH on HDNET? now those guys know how to put on a show!
