What happend January 28th, 2008 in Huskerland?

The most members we've ever had on this board was 2,732 on January 28th of 2008...and I can't for the life of me figure out what happened on that day to warrant such a huge amount of fans on at the same time....Was that when Bo was announced?

Bo was announced awhile before that. (he coached in the national champ game after the press conference for him)

National signing day is the first wednesday in february, so most likely a recruiting announcement was on that day??? idk, now i'm curious

Edit - Looking at commitment dates, Osborne twins and Antonio Bell made their commitments on 1/27/08, so I'm not sure that is enough to warrant the traffic

it could be british, who knows, but i want to say the reason there were so many on that day is that the excitement of a new coaching staff just brought the husker nation to its feet, and apparently to its computers
