New Helmets?

All this talk about uniforms..what about an alternative helmet. I don't believe Nebraska has ever experimented with that but I could be wrong. I love our current helmets, I was just thinking of something for one game or two.

NO!

Nebraska doesn't need alternative anything. I would like to see us wear a throw-back uniform all season in celebration of sell out number 300, but the Helmet and the colors should never change.

 
Im not calling for a change of helmets by NU, but if they were gonna change them and wanted our input, i would vote not to change the design, but just invert the colors, maybe a red helmet with white "N" on the side of it?

 
Same colors, just with the new style "N" and a newer style stripe... I'm not really for the black stuff, or Oregon-level changes, but the uniforms are getting a little dated... Change is only bad when your initials are BC....

 
Why do we need to change the helmets/jerseys???? The only change I would be in favor with is doing a throwback for a couple of the games....I love how we still have the classic look and not something that was made by some bad guy playing with his/her computer.

NU and Penn State have the best uniforms in college football....

Our helmet design will never and should never change. Schools that don't have a lot of tradition and meaning can get away with this sh#t, while people who live in Nebraska won't let anybody get away with changing anything.

The only thing about our helmets that can change is their effectiveness and brand. The design must stay the same.

BTW I'm ok with pants changing from all white/all red from the white with red stripes or red with white stripes. Both of those pants styles are fine by me.
