Men......Today when you put on that Nebraska jersey and strap on that helmet with the N on it....you are not only representing yourself, teammates and coaches, you are representing a rich and proud tradition built by players before you....Playing for this program is not a right it is a privilege...Remember how each of you got here and how hard you all have worked...if you see your teammate struggling...pick him, dust him off and tell him, "I got your back".....We are a team who laughs together, cries together, and fights as one....Men....when you are standing there tall waiting for those gates to open.....Right before you run on to the field...Remember one thing.........I PLAY FOR NEBRASKA!
