Anyone else think this loss can help us?

I think the players can learn alot by this lost and I dont think they will like the taste of a lost like this after the tech game we bounced back and I think we are way more talented this year. Also Zac Lee will play better and be the starter all year. Im glad this happened before conference play and his first test wasnt down in columbia against mizzouri. Dont get me wrong I would of loved to win but I think we will be a better team because of this and will go out and win the north now and 10 wins still could happen if are defense plays like they did.

I think it will help us yes, but I do not think it was better that we lost. A win is ALWAYS better than a loss no matter what.

ya like I said I wouldve loved to win and a win is always better but im saying im glad this happened now against VT and not in columbia. Now Zac know what a big game feels like and will only improve as will the rest of the offense. Helu is fine though lol

Yeah obviously Helu is probably one of the most underrated backs in the country and Zac if healthy should get better as the season progresses.

Ya helu is the best back in the Big 12 by far!
I dont know about "by far". OU has a couple talented backs.

He is however one of the top backs in the Big 12.

Remember, Va tech has a weak run defense aslo.

Husker fans and Husker players and coaches don't ever claim they are glad they lost or they learned a lot from a loss. All you learn in a loss is how to lose. Though it feels terrible it is not a plus, never has been, never will be.

And I can see some taking the same "moral victory" argument to games agains OU and MU and KU if we play them close but lose. All three of those teams will have 10x the offense of VT. We got to get better, play smarter, play harder and have the players on the field with the best chance to win.

Moral victories are just another word for defeat. We NEED TO WIN AND KEEP ON WINNING. Reveling in our defeat by a team that is likely to not fair very well in their league in spite of their current overrating will only set us up for more disappointment. We SHOULD have won that game going away. Our offense didn't get it done. End of story. Now it's time to put up or shut up in the Big XII starting in Columbia Mo, at home with OU and at KU and Baylor.

Right now we have done absolutely NOTHING and that is not what Huskernation is all about. I am sure the coaching staff is viewing it that way . The last several years we have heard how good we are and how we are going to win this and that only to be disappointed badly. It's time to walk the walk instead of talking the talk. GBR

learning from the loss will take place, by many. it will be beneficial down the road, this team, when mistake free, can play well with the competition. anyone interested in a re match in a bowl game at the end of the season? i would love to play them again......

This win will make us better and I believe that. Boy I wanted this win more than anything but in kind of a wierd way it was good to lose because it'll make our team want that big win more than anything. It'll make our players work harder in practice and in games to achieve that.

Last year when the Huskers walked off that field in Lubbock they knew that they were the better team than TT and the 07' Husker team and we proved it for 5 games out of 6. They worked harder after that loss and it showed in their performances after the Texas Tech game.

Oh, btw, /ignored. I've waited too long to do that.

Revel in your wins and learn from your losses. If it doesn't kill you you only get stronger and we will.

GBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
