NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma Sooners receiver Ryan Broyles will be out for two to four weeks with a broken left shoulder blade, starting with this week's game against Baylor.

 

Sooners coach Bob Stoops confirmed Monday that Broyles suffered the fracture during Saturday night's 21-20 loss at Miami.

 

Broyles leads the Sooners (2-2) with 23 catches for 346 yards and seven touchdowns this season. He had also been the team's top punt returner.

 

Stoops also says the No. 19 Sooners will be monitoring Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford's progress again this week to determine if he can play. He says he doesn't have an update on Bradford's condition because the Sooners haven't practiced yet this week.

True but unfortunately, media pundits would downplay the victory by saying OU was playing without their best players (Bradford, Gresham and Broyles) although I expect Bradford to be back by then.

Should hear all this garbage about the rest of their season...only facing one more possible loss, and that is against Texas. The pundits here say besides Texas, OPOO should run the rest of the board since all of them in the North suck and are no good. And Tech is on a back slide now too and OSU is a fake.
