Weatherspoon punching McNeill in the back

Wow. I haven't seen that blatant and dirty of a play since OU and Miami's glory days. MU fans will say Suh's rolling up Gabbert was dirty . . . at least he didn't kidney punch a defenseless player laying on the ground. Dirty. Dirty.

very dirty. absoleutly disgusted with the demeanor of miserys players. classless. looked like a bunch of convicts out there. plain and simple.

Mizzou had their fair share of late / dirty shots and it cost them... I believe they were called for at least 3 personal fouls?

Those stupid plays will cost them more games if they keep it up.

Very frustrated and it didn't look like a hard punch. Flag was deserved but it didn't look like he was trying to hurt anyone.

He should have been thrown out for that sh#t.
I agree. Sometimes pushing, shoving, words are exchanged in the heat of the moment, etc...but throwing a punch is the next level....especially because the player was on the ground. How was that punch different than LeGarrette Blount with Oregon? I was surprised he was not thrown out of the game. Water under the bridge at this point though.

As long as there's no injury, I love personal foul flags against the opponent. I love to watch the players smile and wave at them as they stroll down the field with an automatic first down.

That said, Spoon, get you head out of your a$$. You're on national TV. Now everyone knows you kidney punch players because you apparently can't play real defense well enough to win.

I think Mizzou should suspend him for a game for that cheap shot, and if they won't do it, let the Big XII do it. That was totally uncalled for.

I agree that it was dirty and completely unnecessary, but you have to see it through his perspective. He saw that the ball flew incomplete, next thing he knows a tight-end is lunging at his knees. Sadly, it might of been a natural reaction for him.

Totally fine. We'll take the yards any way we can get them.
