Weatherspoon punching McNeill in the back

I thought punching a player was grounds for immediate ejection from a game. Isn't that a rule?
Yeah, but I wouldn't expect the officials at last nights game to know this. <_<

Was C. B. Bucknor out there, too?

I couldn't believe all the helmet to helmet shots they let go. Did they miss the last 20 years of college football?

I didn't think it was such a bad hit... looked like more of a shove than a punch.

I want to say that it was in the 2nd quarter, but am not certain.

Didn't the ESPN crew even say something along the lines of "He's lucky that he's still in the game" (probably knowing that it should have been an immediate ejection).

I'm sure it will come up in the Big 12/refs weekly meeting.

There's just no excuse for a dumbass move like that. That one move could have been "game over" for Missou right there-especially if it was as early as I think it was.

What an idiot

No way that was a shove, Spoon was trying to make McNeil piss blood there. How the refs didn't see it for what is was is beyond me.

Suh's horse collar call was way off too....typical Missouri officiating.
Not to mention the 5 helmet to helmet hits that Mizzou had before they finally called that one on the option Zac Lee pitched it.

Yes! Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that. Each option pitch Lee got slammed up high with the headgear.

He's just like the rest of 'em. Who cares. Our guys made it out okay, thankfully. And they're the same failures they've always been.
