When they calculate the points that we give up per game average for the defense, will they include the 2 points that came from the safety or not?

I think I saw on espn that our average is 8.0 ppg, which would mean they counted the safety. otherwise it would be 7.6 or something like that.

In some ways, you could consider our punt team as part of the Defense..Trying to pin them back as far as possible.
If Henery hadn't taken the safety, we'd probably given up a FG... (at least)
3, 9, 16, 0 =28/4 = 8
28+10=38/5+=7.6
28+12=40/5 =8
So yes since we are at 8 and second, the safety is included
Florida is #1 at 32 point 5 games for 6.4
So it does not matter for now we would still be second at 7.6 with Florida at 6.4
