I imagine we'll all be a little confused if Nebraska reels off 48 points in one quarter Saturday against Iowa State.
That's what the Huskers did 26 years ago this week.

I was there. It was against a weak Colorado team that hung in there in the first half. It was like the field was tilted about 15 degrees that 3rd quarter.

There also. That may have been one of the years the Buffs were sporting the light blue uni's. "Hey, maybe we'll better if we look like UCLA!" They also lost to Drake 2 years straight in that era. 48 points by the Huskers in a quarter was a sign of improvement.
