I haven't seen that before thanks for posting it. It would be nice to see our oline that physical again just watching them running around looking for somone to hit man that video got me pumped

Me too.

They look so freaking fast, and their cuts are so quick. And i had no idea Gill had such a good arm. I would like to watch that whole season.

It was quite a trip. Those guys were good. You knew they were going to win when they stepped on the field.

I will never forget that tipped 2-point conversion in the Orange Bowl. One of the worst feelings I had as a kid.

That's exactly the phrase that came to mind when I watched those highlights.

We have one guy on this year's team like that. The 1983 team's two-deep was almost entirely made up of such players.

 
Let this show that the 80's teams don't get the respect that they deserve. Nebraska has fielded awesome teams for a lot longer than a lot of Husker fans realize. It wasn't just the 90's folks, and it isn't some freakishly unattainable goal to return to. We fielded teams that did this to opponents for decades.

 
I feel like we havn't had big play potential since Crouch. We really need to dump this 2 yard pass bullsh#t.

And the Okie State score, did they have Barry Sanders(sp?) that year? If so I am pretty sure we were the only ones to beat them that year

Brandon Jackson comes to mind . . . . among a few others.

 
Please note the use of the forward pass in the video. There seems to be this fallacy that NU never passed before Callahan got here. Gill to Fryar was awesome to watch.
