Did you hear about the speech that the Nebraska running back had to give?

I heard he fumbled his way through it.

well 3 Nebraska Football players have come down with H1N1. But no worries coming from the coaching staff because they say that the players on this team have a very hard time catching things. In the event that a player does catch it, the staff is still not worried because they will probably just cough it up anyway. More details to come later.

the player had no idea what it was. they are not very familiar with the goal line this year.
I still don't get it, can you explain it some more?

sure thing. the goal line is the line that separates the end zone from the rest of the field. since the Huskers haven't been scoring much this year, the joke is that they don't know what the goal line is. when they saw it in practice they thought it was some sort of drug or possibly anthrax. they were then forced to call Campus Security to verify the identity of the white powdery substance. which was determined to be the goal line.

Sorry, and I'll probably get blasted for this, but I don't find any of this funny. When I came to SD this was the kind of crap I had to smile at when one of my customers pitched it to me. Still makes me want to puke.

One of my coworkers sent me this today:

Subject: I have a virus

The symptoms are listlessness, carelessness and sloppiness.

Preliminary investigators of the National Disease Center has dubbed this virus as the "ISU9NU7" flu.

I responded with:

Researchers believe that symptoms are mitigated by extended time spent in isolation on special benches. The wearing of black shirts has been proven to prevent infection.

Yes, we are very clever where I work.
