hand out the dresses on this board

Actually, I think it comes down to whether you're a glass half empty or a glass half full type of person. Typically, I lean towards the glass half empty which is why I think it's going to be a struggle considering the offensive struggles to become bowl eligible. We have to ask ourselves the question whether any teams left on our schedule are worse than Baylor. If they are, we should win. If not, it will be a struggle.
Well:

OU will be a HUGE struggle

Unless our D plays with zero mistakes, KU is going to put up with points, and I am doubtful we can keep up

Kansas State looks good on both sides of the ball, but I still don't really know what to think about them

Colorado always plays us tough

That's my take on the remaining games.
That's quitter talk! I'm sure melscott can loan you his spare pair.
Actually - it's reality coming from him.
Did I need to add this? :sarcasm

Around the kool-aid drinkers and sunshine pumpers that frequent these boards.....Yes, the sarcasm tag is almost a requirement.

So the thought here is, if you don't believe what I believe about this team/season/game, you're not a man?

That's logical. <_<

there is a difference in believing and CRYING.
Yes, there is. There is also a deficiency on this board in determining which is which. All too often people who "don't believe what I believe" are lazily defined as whiners or women or whatever. It's a copout when you don't have a decent argument and it happens all too often.

I believe what I believe. Frankly, I don't care if anybody else believes what I believe. I have good reasons for what I believe, and that's good enough for me.

Hopefully what is going on here is this:

1. Under-estimating how good the Huskers are.

2. Over-estimating how good the Sooners are.

The strongest statement I've ever said about an upcoming game is that, "I'm worried," and yeah I'm worried about this game, but then I always worry about this game, its Oklahoma! Will I sit at home and watch this game? Hell, NO! I'm gonna put on my Husker gear and head for my favorite sports bar. Will I leave if the Huskers are getting beat? Hell, NO! I live and die with this team, have done so for 40 years and either listened to or watched every loss TO had in his 25 years as the head coach of the Huskers. I did nthe same with Solich and Callahan and will continue to do so with Pelini. The good times are heaven but I also think the losses strike harder and this is because our expectations are incredibly high. All I can say is, let's not throw the towel in before the game is even played and "Go Big RED!"

As Bo would say it is what it is. Any questions? Good. We are fine! Watson is a great coach and he is wearing a size 9 black evening dress no heels!

ok let me clarify.....

crying is saying stuff like there is no way we can compete...... its not a matter of if they will win, but by how much........ we cant compete with k state........ our offense will never be able to score on them....... so on. and the people mocking me are probably the same people that said we couldnt win more than 7 games.

You say crying while some say being realistic.
