Even when we held OU to only 3 points? That was the only way we could win, and Pelini pulled it off! That's a signature win. Our offense did not play well, but it played better than OU's against a pretty stout defense, albeit not as stout as ours.

 
We beat a good football team without our offense and we did it with lights out defense and grit! That's signature Bo Pelini right there.

Whatever OU's record, this is a game that NOBODY in the media picked us to win. We won this game w/ outstanding defense, which is what we brought Pelini in to fix. I'll call it a signature win.

 
I say yes since they held Oklahoma to 3 which was 30 below their average. Jones was just a week removed from being Player of the Week. The defense was on the field for 85 plays while our offense could only muster 55 or 56? This was a special one.
