Will Crick Go Pro?

I'm hearing that NFL scouts are almost more interested in Crick than Suh because of Cricks size.

So with Crick having the ability to go Pro this year do you guys think he might leave with a high stock and not let there be a chance of a let down without Suh next year.
he could be the Ryan Sims to Jullius Peppers.

Crick is good, but i am curious to see what he does when he is the one getting all the blocking attention. If he gets the chance though maybe he could cash in like Sims did.

Exactly. It's a lot different when the light is shining brightest on you.

I don't see Crick leaving early. He's got a lot of learning to do from Bo yet. And as good as he is, he's not Suh good, and if Suh can learn more from Bo, you know Crick can.

Crick is also just a sophomore, guys.

(edit at post below: oops my bad. misread some earlier posts)

Like people havnet stated that already..

He will have to stay two more years. Being next to Suh is like Pippen playing with Jordan. Not the best simile but maybe you will be my point. I want to see his potential after the D-line looses Suh. To early to tell.

:include

I would expect crick to evaluate his potential in the NFL after the season.

wouldn't surprise me at all if he left.

or if he stayed another year.

If he could get drafted, he should go. Injury can strike at any time (i.e. Bradford)

it would be the biggest mistake of his life if he goes pro. He isn't ready. He's just a sophomore. Wait until next year when Suh is gone and let's see how he does. He has the potential, don't rush the process. Believe me, it's a huge step from college to pro. He has the physical tools no doubt. Let his body continue to mature and he will be a freak in a year or two.

Being a homegrown and all, I'd be very surprised especially with the way the D is playing that Crick leaves early for the NFL.

I think next year we might see something that were seeing a little of this year and thats Baker having big games because Crick is getting all the double teams

It could also be the other way around.

Or, you know, offenses could just be screwed. :)

True injury can strike and damage a career...but comparing Crick's situation to Bradford's? Crick is a Sophomore that anybody really started paying attention to just in the past month. Bradford was returning for his Senior year after coming off a Heisman season and looking at a top 5 pick for a franchise. Worlds apart.

I think he will choose to if he can. I really think when it comes down to it he will choose the NFL over a normal job. :sarcasm

uh...

no.

of course not. :rollin :rollin

merely pointing out that coming back ...

like bradford did.

does no good if you get a season ending injury or worse...

life has no guarantees.

IF.

IF.

Crick could get a decent contract, I'd say a "bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

now. apply your favorite cliche. :)
