And do not get a tattoo where people can easily see it. I regret this mistake.

Just go double or nothing until you win the bet and you are off the hook. Tattoos are beyond stupid. If no one else in the world had a tattoo and someone approached you and said they had a way of permanently affixing a picture to your body with ink under your skin, I'm pretty sure you'd tell them to fook off. Tattoos are a way of telling people you are cool, just like all of the rest of the people with tattoos. They are like Harleys. Showing everyone how "different" you are by being like everyone else.

Of course, that is just my opinion.

I hope the women of Essen, Germany are more forgiving than they are around here.

My love of Nebraska has never extended to Herbie. Or tattoos.

And my guess, Power Wagon, is that you secretly wanted the tat anyway.

If you are religious I would say a cross on your left shoulder blade.

If you just want something Nebraska football wise skull and bones are always cool.

I work with a guy that has a business removing tats.

His number one customers are released prison inmates.

If you want it do it. If you don't, buy here something nice and tell her you really do not want to.

If you have to, hide it. It will affect your employment opportunities down the road.

I know some really love them, an addiction some claim. They get a high from it.

But it has to be your choice. The only good thing, is now they can be removed.

How painful is removing a tattoo? I heard they have to essentially burn away ALL of the inked skin and let it heal over. Does it leave a big scar in place? How expensive is it?

I have a few tats I don't want anymore - that's why I ask.

Lots of good advice there, skers, but this is one that really sticks out to me. I hear about a lot of people who have been turned down for a job because of visible tattoos. It's not illegal to refuse to hire someone because they have a tattoo (with a minor, hard-to-prove exception).

It is a chemical process. He had numerous ones when he was released from prison. The area where they were was red, but not scarred it appeared to me. He said being a felon and having tats totally destroyed his employment chances, once the tats were gone he found work. It is being recommended by all the prisons to remove them on realease. He was working wtih being able to have it done prior to release.

If this group of people see the problems with them, we should it seems.

I miss spoke, he does not work with us any longer, but I will try to track him down. He was working with Doctor on this process. He worked with the company for about a year. He was going to a ITT trade school or something like that. He had totally turned his life around.

Lots of advice here guys, and thanks alot. Ive been wanting one for a while, just to show my pride. Eventually i might get something with my kids on my body but thats alittle more complicated. I like the herbie tattoos but thats alittle to complicated for me. And i also agree if im going to get one its going on my shoulder blade or upper arm, not in plain view.
