Ressing, 'questions Blackshirts'

I might go listen to it in a bit. It's odd he says stuff like that... we sacked him four times last year with a better O Line in front of him and (statistically) a worse D Line opposing him.

I don't know if we'll throw any blitzes at him like we did against Jones, but if we do, don't be surprised to see a Reesing-shaped smear across Memorial Stadium's rug. Dude is not sound in the groin, and that's going to make running for his life a lot more difficult.
Wait for it...........wait for it..........

He said something like......." Nebraska's a good defense, but they have not faced an experienced QB".

Taking out the Sun Belt, other than Tyrod Taylor I'd say he's right. Mizzou didn't have an experienced QB. Neither did TT, Iowa State, or OU. Of course, I don't necessarily think it takes experience as a QB to run for you life against our DL.

In Reesing's defense, this is the most experienced QB we have yet to face. Although, I think the kid from Texas Tech...Scheffield(spelling?), might be way better than Reesing. Especially right now when he is struggling. This might be Reesing's worst year, so I don't know if I would be doing much talking if I was him.

I've got a mental pic of a guy with a groin injury trying to hobble away with Suh and Crick in pursuit. That is just ugly........

Oh I 100% agree that Reesing is right. I just don't think that is all he meant by it. The implication is that because he is more experienced he will have a good game against the Blackshirts, he is saying that they aren't an elite Defense because elite Defenses stop a team no matter how good the QB is. If he thinks experience will make up the 5 sacks they got on him last season or what the Husker D-Line is doing this year then he is crazy.

texas tech QB's arent as game experienced as reesing but they've been in the there system for just as long as reesing has and are more talented then reesing...but really does it matter how experienced you are when your OL is terrible?

haven't played an experienced QB? Tyrod Taylor? He played a great game against us right?
I don't understand where to place the voice inflection in your post to convey sarcasm. Are you saying that we controlled Tyrod and our o-line made him look bad? Because they did win, largely because of his effort.

You know if that is what he meant by it...I hope he has a really bad day Saturday. Usually the guy who does the talking is the one that can't get it done. I hope Suh, Crick, Allen, Turner, and Dillard hear about this cause they will put him down on the turf for talking smack haha.

It seems as though general consensus is that saying that the blackshirts have not faced any will maybe true is in bad taste and will result in bad play by Reesing. If this is true can we also expect bad play from Suh who said we are going to kick or run over a wounded dog. (As he spoke about KU struggles)

I believe they will put him to the ground irrespective of any trash talk.
It'll be interesting to see if Suh gets a penalty for "slamming the QB to the ground" like he did with TTech QB. I'm getting tired of all this babying that goes on with the QB's.

The good news is that I do not think it affects the defensive players. Slamming a QB to the ground hard is worth a penalty, even if it is not fair. It is the refs way of showing sympathy, or something like that.

In any case, I hope Bo takes this and USES it as bulletin board material. The D should feel slapped in the face.
