That entire drive of Rex Burkhead up the middle was pretty impressive. That was a line up and force your will on the defense drive.

exactly. Now just do that a lot during the game and not only when you are trying to put the game away.

I knew it was the end when I watched that drive our quarterback play isn't good enough to combat that kind of a drive, I liked our defensive effort today but I thought they were out there too long too many times to start the game.

true, if your offense didn't have all those 3 and outs it would of been a totally different story.

Pound it, pound it, pound it. Then a pass to Paul thrown in for a first down. The whole season seems to be the Huskers with a 4th quarter that wins it. Maybe we wear them down. Getting ahead and making the other team play catch up. But the defense gives up a lot of yardage until the other team gets in the red zone. I guess throw the stats out the window with this group. 9 wins!!!!
