Offensive Game Plan vs. Arizona(I presume)

Do we stick with the same game plan and assume that it will be more effective against an average Defense in Arizona so we can squeak out another win relying on our defense? With our QB situation, I don't know what I would do at this point. What are your thoughts?

if our possession starts inside the opponents 40, kick immediate field goal. on first down. no exceptions. outside of the 40, immediate punt and/or zac lee deep pass-punt.

I like the way you think. :) We're good at going backward, even without penalties.

Everything.....change it all. And we have to at least run the ball 3 times up the middle before we kick the field goal to give the D a breather and chew some clock. :)

Nope. Same game plan. And we are going to dominate those guys unlike Texas. They are going to be worn eventually and the O is going to make a few plays. Nebraska 21, Arizona 10.

Beautiful.

As far as the OP's questions, idk what you would do about the offense. Our line will have more success against them no question, but the QB position will still probably go to Zac.

All I knoe is hes a better runner then he his a passer.I mean that guy can run you all seen him during the kansas game, then during the texas game. Ditch watson and get a OC that has had nebraska ties. Thats what i think

Pass the ball downfield. That doesn't mean bombs down the sideline, it means trying different routes, getting the ball to McNeil, 10-15 yards. Try a trick play or three. Try some wildcat. Nothing can be worse than 39 passing yards and five first downs. If we turn the ball over five times, so what. It's time to start looking like a real offense.

Take a knee for 3 plays, punt and hope the defense scores.I guess I am still reeling after the offensive explosion at the Texas game, I still have to laugh, pathetic showing

run the ball up the middle. All game long, heck almost won.

You know whatever Watson decides is fine with me!!

You will more than likely see nothing change over the coming weeks.

Watson is going to have to "have some guts" and "try not to sling the ball around" for another month. I don't think Bo will let him try and bring back some more of the old offense yet.

I say we start green. LSU did this last year. They benched their starter for the majority of the season, Jarret Lee (coincedence? I think not), then came in with Jordan Jefferson, who was a redshirt frosh. He ended up laying pretty well. I'm sure they could prepare green with all the time they have.

haha this is actually kind of funny cause minus the punt part, thats what my friends and i were saying right away when they had the ball inside the 45. they would have won too... i could be an OC easy, sign me up
