Carnes again? We already went through this ride several months ago. Scout and Rivals both had stories on him, saying Tommie had talked to him about Nebraska and he eventually went back to a solid commit to USF.

Yeah I remember that, it is why I didn't see this one coming. I wonder if NU backed off because Tyler committed?

I believe this ^ to be the case. But I could be wrong. Another reason to dislike Mizzou and Tyler Gabbert.

 
Could be possible with his being a soft verbal. The negative press Leavitt is currently getting couldn't hurt either. And if he is close to Tommie.... :dunno

I also read that USF just got another QB commit, he isn't listed on the Rivals site though. This could help NU.

 
As many ties as this kid would have to the school, I don't see him coming here. Anyone who chooses USF over his other offers isn't thinking too rationally.

 
Although it's not listed on his rivals profile, an earlier story by rivals has his 40 time clocked at 4.57.
