I haven't read through all four pages, so just ignore if this has already been discussed, but: Why the huge disparity between Rivals and Scout on this guy? Rivals has him 4 stars, and one of the the top 100 recruits in the nation. That's huge. But Scout has him 3 stars and the #76 running back. I know the two sites don't always agree, but I didn't think they differed that much very often.
Funny you should mention this, both sites have famously differed in the past on other recruits. Rivals had Crabtree as a 4 Star while Scout only had him as a 2 Star, I guess Rivals did better on that one. There are others, but it does happen.

ESPN had him rated him more like scout. From reading that, it seems they didn't think he was quite fast enough or big enough to be a top RB prospect. A little more size and/or a little more speed and they say everyone would've been after him.

Guessing scout saw things the same way as ESPN, but rivals thought his speed and/or size was good enough.

Size I could get, but speed I don't . Just looking at his vids and you can see he is a burner.

What I was saying in regards to being stacked at rb is yes we have a lot of bodies, but how many of them would contribute on a top five or ten bcs team? I am excited for the future about tray and rex, but Helu is a senior and the rest aren't really top notch guys, although I really think Ward can become one. IMO we Heards committment gives us the ideal amount of quality bodies at rb. anything less than 3 and it can be a replay of iowa state and anything more than four and people begin to transfer, much like USC.

Here is a highlight reel from a Ohio prep website. This guy has breakaway speed, and I love seeing that he runs predominantly from the I formation.

I believe ESPN and Scout are working together on recruiting. Or they used to or something. So ESPN and Scout agreeing might not mean anything.

The videos show a guy that looks a lot stronger than 5'11" and 180 lbs.

I can't "weight", no pun intended to see what he looks like after a year or two at NU.

I am excited he is going help bring us back to compete for National Championships again.

I think he flat out dominated the Ohio State Championship Game. 179 yards, 2 TD's and 1 throwing TD.

Not a bad days work for a high school prep star. I am sure they were trying shut him down too. Even more impressive.
