With great fanfare and build up, the team donned the "retro" jersey look for Lafayette, a team that had beat KSU just prior. We busted out the offense to the tune of a season high 55 points. Roy looked good, Zac looked competent, the defense got it's first shutout since 2006, even Rex and Cody looked like future stars....

then we auctioned off the throwbacks, it took the defense to kick the O's a$$ at Mizzou, and our offense hasn't doen a bloody thing except turn the ball over a horrendous number of times against ISU.

So here's my question... Can we get the throwbacks "back" for the bowl game? We haven't seen our offense since then. :ahhhhhhhh

Please don't tell me our offense and the future of the Husker program rest on those "throwbacks" used for one game against ummm ... a nobody.

Good programs are good for other reasons ... right? Please tell me you don't believe this.

Sheep, i really need to work on my sarcasm coming over the internet. Merely an idle thought on the struggles of the offense without ragging on Watson, Lee or anyone else.

Then again, I am a HUGE fan of those uniforms. I for one, would not be unhappy if they became permanent. and before you jump that comment, i also realize we're not changing the uniforms.
