Oregon vs. Ohio State

some great matchups today. 17-16 oregon. really interested seeing how ohio state responds here after the ducks just came out and rammed it down their throats after the half.

ohio state is letting this oregon team hang around. its gonna bite them. pryor is such a strange player. one series he looks like a salty veteran, the next hes got all the time in the world and finds a way to screw the pooch. some passes have amazing touch, some look like he closes his eyes and just chucks it.

Oregon is bringing back quite a few starters next year, including Masoli.

Do you have some crow you can eat?

yeah...ohio state isnt going to be a slouch next year either. i think its more likely you'd see the buckeyes in the title game than oregon. IMHO.

why would i need to eat crow? thats what was going on in that part of the game. they'd run down the field and end up with a field goal. i thought they were letting oregon hang around...i guess i should have been more clear, as i thought i was being clear that ohio state should have been winning easily.

i am a little hungry though, so i guess if youre offering, i'd take some.

Since when has Ohio State been known for piling on points? They played a low scoring game like they always plan to. You said that if the game was kept close it would bite them and it didn't.

do you just feel like arguing?

go outside and get some air. take a deep breath. pound your chest. its gonna be okay.

hmm. no, people that come in spouting off after the fact just amuse me and carry no credibility. if you would have shown any of your opinions before the end of the game, then maybe someone would take you seriously.

yeah i was kinda busy watching bowls all day. Now off to watch the Sugar Bowl.

This was a pretty good game but Oregon to me just relies too much on their offense to be able to always outscore their opponents. Like an NBA team that thinks they can win by shooting every time before 10 seconds on the 24 second clock. When their offense can exploit a weakness (like vs. USC), they look unstoppable. But Ohio State has a good defense so once Oregon could not get their offense going they way they wanted, then they were doomed. The time of possession is ridiculous...you don't think Oregon's defense gets worn down after awhile? I have never been impressed by Oregon's defense as that is not the focus of what they do. Ohio State played a very balanced game and did not give Oregon chance to put up cheap/fast points...so Ohio State wins that game every time.
