^ Why do you say that? Cooper had a spot no matter what happened with other guys committing. But that spot would have had to be made somehow, and Mitchell was one way of making it. Even if Mitchell's spot is being made for someone else (Simek?), it is still one of the things that has to be done to allow Cooper to take his spot.
