Ingram to Rozier???

I am a young husker fan. Was watching the National Title game with my uncle and he made the comparison of Mark Ingram to Mike Rozier. Anyone else see that? Or had my uncle put back a few too many?

Vision and balance are quite comparable. I'm not sure on size but would think Ingram is a bit larger, I would say he is more like a Payton or Emmitt with the balance and change of direction.

I think Herby and Musbooger got this one right, he runs similar to Emmitt Smith the way I see it. Rozier exploded into defenders.

Ingram reminded me more of Emmitt Smith than anyone. Same size, speed, the ability to run through arm tackles and laying the hit instead of being hit in finishing runs.

Ingram impressed me the Title Game.

I believe Ingram had the same type of balance and vision as Rozier, but Rozier had that plus explosive speed and deadly footwork. Ingram is more of a work horse back and doesn't quite have the moves or speed that Rozier had. It's easy to tell just from film on both of them.

:blink: O.K. Emmitt Smith.........MAYBE. But Walter Payton? You have got to be kidding! Mark Ingram isn't even in the same league as sweetness!!!
