I forgot I had this picture on my computer at work. It's a picture of a couple of the B-52 pilots I work with on final approach to the base. Thought some of the old-heads in the military might get a kick out of this

Not too bad for a plane designed in the 50s. It's such a successful model I have to wonder if it'll be the first plane in use for 100 years.

50's?

Wasn't this plane used in WW2?

like "December 7th, 1941. A Date that will live in infamy"-FDR talking about Pearl Harbor.

Cool!

I've seen countless pictures of my Dad next to his B-29 back when he was 19 to 22? in WW2.

But none inside the cockpit.

I imagine they're much more complicated than they were in his day, but I still feel the urge to forward to the rest of my family.

Thanks!
